Lean In

When you ask me what I do,

do you really want to know?

Because if you do,

lean in, my friend, and I shall tell you.

It’s no secret, but life has taught me:

in regard to “matters of consequence,” one should be discriminating—

as not all are ready (or worthy) to receive such treasures.

Lean in—

so I know you’re not just making polite conversation,

but because your essence wants to touch mine.
